Personal Chef Training Upgrades

Already enrolled in a Personal Chef training program, but now wish you could take one of the more advanced programs? You can. The Culinary Business Academy has a method for you to upgrade your training package purchase.

Our primary mission is to insure you receive the training and materials desired so you may launch and operate your own professional personal chef service with confidence. We understand that for a variety of reasons a person may elect one training program, but soon discover that they’d prefer a different option. We’re here to help.

Within the first year of receiving your training package you may request an upgrade to a more intensive course. Simply pay the difference between your initial program fee and the tuition for the course you want. Any additional materials involved will either be sent to you or made available at your training facility.

  • Individuals who initially received a Home Study - Career Edition program may elect to upgrade to either a Quick Start program or the Undergraduate Course.
  • Individuals who began with the Quick Start program may elect an upgrade to our week-long Undergraduate Course.
  • To request an upgrade, please contact the Culinary Business Academy at 800-747-2433.
  • There is no requirement for you to have completed testing prior to upgrading your training option.
  • Tuition difference must be paid in full at the time of your request. Delivery fees will be added if additional materials are to be sent directly to you.

Upgrading From Home Study – Home Chef Edition to Any Personal Chef Program

At any time, an individual who has purchased a Home Study – Home Chef Edition program may upgrade to a professional, career level Personal Chef training option.

You can receive at $100 CREDIT towards your purchase of professional Personal Chef training business materials. To receive this credit associated with an upgrade, you must return your Home Chef Reference Manual, postage paid, to: (You will keep the Recipe Medley recipe book plus your MenuMagic Lite software….do not return these items)

Include a sheet of paper with the Reference Manual with your name and phone number so that we may apply the appropriate credit to you for your return. The Culinary Business Academy is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail. We suggest you return the Home Chef Reference Manual using a service that can track and/or insure your package.

Your CREDIT will be applied to the new system purchased. You will need to pay the balance of tuition and any shipping fees of the new materials prior to any materials being sent out. Your Home Chef Reference Manual must be received prior to processing your upgrade order.

Please refer to the Licensing Agreement included in your documents package for important information, including the clause that no materials may be sold, donated, duplicated or otherwise altered or distributed without expressed written permission from the Culinary Business Academy.

Completed a Personal Chef Training Program?

Does your personal chef service need a boost? Are you looking for more growth but are at a loss as to where to begin? Have you not reached your full potential yet?

For a variety of reasons, Personal Chefs sometimes need to reenergize their service due to an extended absence from the service, or perhaps the timing wasn’t right and the business never really got properly launched. Or maybe you’ve operated at a part-time level and are now ready to bring more business onboard.

If you have completed a Personal Chef training program, are a current member of the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA) member and have completed your business plan, you are eligible to enroll in the Client Retention and Expansion Workshop (CREW). There is no time limit or restriction on when you may enroll. Brand new Personal Chefs and those with 5+ years experience stand to benefit from this class.
