Personal Chef Testing

Some personal chef training programs require online testing to complete the course. The links below will provide you with a sample of the exam, to let you get a feel for how these exams will look.

The links below will generate a study guide (pdf) for each of the three personal chef online exams.

Authorized Online Examinations For Personal Chef Programs

Use the links below to access the log-in page for the personal chef exam desired. You will be requested to provide 3 pieces of information:

  • Access code – provided to you by the Culinary Business Academy
  • Your first and last name
  • Your email address

Selecting a test link below will direct you to a page requesting your access code. Entering your access code will open the next page where you will need to add name and email address. At this page you will also be required to acknowledge information about the exam and enter your initials into a box in order to actually access the exam.

Each exam has 40 true/false or multiple choice questions, and allows 1 hour to complete once the test is started. Once the time has expired, you will not be allowed to return to that exam.

If your internet connection is lost during the exam, re-connect and return to this page. Select the SAME EXAM as the one you were taking when the connection was lost. You will be returned to that exam and can resume where you were with no time lost.

If your browser is closed during the exam, immediately open a new browser window and return to this page. Select the SAME EXAM as the one you were taking when the browser was closed. You will be returned to the exam and can resume where you were; however, the test time will continue to elapse while your browser is closed. Once time has expired, you will not be allowed to return to that exam.

Test Results

You will be provided with immediate results of your exam upon completion via the testing site. Upon successfully completing all three exams you will be contacted by the Culinary Business Academy via email and written documentation will follow shortly afterwards. Passing score is 70%.

A $25 testing fee will be required to reset any failed examination.

All online exams are designed to work with virtually any computer that can access the Internet. Individuals using dial-up Internet connections may experience a slightly slower load time. During your exam you may return to a previous page for review and to change an answer if so desired.
